Flow meter for measuring water flow and pressure.
The flow meter consists of a ball valve with a pressure gauge (0 - 10 bar) and a GEKA connection, a flow meter with a range of 0.6 - 6 m³/h, and also includes all the necessary connectors.
Flow meter for measuring water flow and pressure.
The flow meter consists of a ball valve with a pressure gauge (0 - 10 bar) and a GEKA connection, a flow meter with a range of 0.6 - 6 m³/h, and also includes all the necessary connectors. The advantage of this design: The device can be disassembled into two parts and conveniently stored.
Handling tips:
1) The part used to measure water flow must always be held vertically upwards during measurement.
2) Correct setting: Before fully opening the valve of the water source to be measured, make sure that the ball valve of the measuring device is closed.
3) Always take three measurements: The first measurement concerns the static pressure in the water pipe in bars. With the ball valve of the measuring device closed, read the value. The second measurement relates to water flow at a specific pressure that is optimal for the nozzles or emitters of the irrigation system being planned. For small projects, this is typically 2.5 bars. The third measurement is to measure water flow with the ball valve of the measuring device fully open. These three values can be communicated precisely to the planner.
