Ratchet system for TREELOCK® ball anchorage

removable ratchet lever is relevant for the installation of all TREELOCK® underfloor anchors.

Innovative ratchet system - The ratchet lever for lashing can be removed - this reduces the installation height and also acts as a theft protection.

GEFA TREELOCK® installation - only possible with ratchet lever:

1. Dig the planting hole as usual
2. Place tree
3. Place the anchor perpendicular to the bottom of the planting pit - the top angled end of the anchor points away from the root ball
4. Drive in the anchor to the recommended depth in the ground using the impact rod
5. Pull the impact bar through the loop
6. Cross the anchor by pulling upwards – the ends of the loops should protrude from the ground up to the middle of the ball
7. Place the bale protection disc on the bale
8. Thread the ratchet strap through the anchor loops
9. Thread the strap through the ratchet as far as possible
10. Pull the handle on the lever
11. Guide the eyelets that have been moved apart over the lower part of the ratchet and allow them to engage
12. Ratchet until the straps are tight
13. Release the lever - done!

Ratchet System for TREELOCK® Root Ball Anchorage

The removable ratchet handle is required for the installation of all TREELOCK® underground anchoring systems.

Innovative ratchet system – the ratchet handle used for tensioning can be removed. This reduces the installation height and also acts as theft protection.

GEFA TREELOCK® installation – only possible with ratchet handle

1. Excavate the planting pit as usual
2. Position the tree
3. Place the anchor vertically on the bottom of the planting pit – the upper angled end of the anchor must point away from the root ball
4. Drive the anchor into the recommended soil depth using the driving rod
5. Pull the driving rod through the loop
6. Pull upward to position the anchor horizontally – the loop ends should protrude from the soil up to the center of the root ball
7. Place the root ball protection disc on the root ball
8. Thread the ratchet strap through the anchor loops
9. Feed the strap as far as possible through the ratchet
10. Pull the handle lever
11. Guide the opened eyelets over the lower ratchet part and lock them into place
12. Tighten the ratchet until the straps are firmly tensioned
13. Release and remove the handle – done!
