GEFAguard® Root barrier 100

Root and rhizome barrier to protect the infrastructure. Suitable for any root type and tree species (recommended for bamboo plantations). 2 mm thick root protection membrane, without root-resistant coupling elements, height 100 cm, on 25 m roll.

Uncontrolled rooting causes enormous damage to roadbeds, cable trays and sewer systems every year, resulting in high costs.

Root guiding and root protection systems guide root growth and divert it from the areas to be protected. The root is guided and steered by GEFA systems in the desired direction. This protects the root itself and prevents consequential damage, for example to:

sewers
foundations
road bodies
Gardens, sports fields, parks, playgrounds
Ponds, swimming pools

GEFAguard® HDPE is a durable protective wall with a wall thickness of 2 mm. It is used as a separation between trees and the areas to be protected, such as pavement, canals, pipes, etc.
