Solid aluminum splicing awl with internal thread. Suitable for GEFA hollow ropes with a diameter of 30 mm.

Hollow ropes can generally be installed as a single-component system with abrasion protection, or as a multi-component system, for example with loop straps.

Many intermediate sizes as well as ropes with higher breaking loads for individual and economical solutions
Dyneema ropes of 12 and 20 t suitable for static securing

Installation:

In accordance with BG regulations and the FLL / ZTV Baumpflege regulations (Additional Technical Contract Conditions and Guidelines for Tree Care)
Tools: splicing awl, special adhesive tape, special scissors

Splicing is the break-resistant, permanent, non-detachable connection of ropes by a specific type of interweaving. In principle, when splicing braided hollow ropes, the rope end is pushed back through the hollow core of the rope over a defined length. The resulting connection gains its strength from the fact that the hollow core contracts under load and firmly grips the rope end located inside.
