The protective hose prevents friction on the bark in wind and weather. The pressure distribution and the friction protection play a major role, for the installed safety components and for the trees themselves. TIP:

The bark of young trees is very sensitive. A protective hose attached to the trunk prevents friction on the trunk.

Tests conducted by the provincial research institute in Quedlinburg have shown that the risk of bulking or constriction in GEFA tree trusses is very low. Nevertheless: check regularly!
