Securing at-risk branches is not only a legal obligation but also an essential contribution to sustainability. For this reason, we are proud to have developed, in collaboration with our long-standing partner Liros, the first hollow rope made from recycled polyester that has successfully passed all tests and weathering trials.
Our hollow rope utilizes GRS-certified rPET yarn, which is obtained 100% from recycled PET bottles. This significantly reduces CO2 emissions and makes a significant contribution to environmental protection. Every ton of recycled PET produced helps to reduce CO2 emissions by 1.5 to 2 tons, representing a savings of approximately 70% compared to conventional polyester.
Our hollow rope is initially available in the proven 4t classic variant for dynamic securing. It is characterized by its easy installation using proven braiding and splicing techniques.
Furthermore, it is recyclable and can be returned to GEFA if necessary, ensuring a closed-loop system.
Hollow ropes can be installed either as single-component systems with friction protection or as multi-component systems, for example with loop straps.
