TREELOCK® Root Ball anchor BIO Object 35 - GEFA

For trees up to 35 cm trunk circumference.  In a set, consisting of 3 closed organic loops (60 cm), 1 bio tension belt with ratchet (2.50 m) including removable ratchet lever and 1 ball protection disc made of coconut Ø 60.

With Keimling Logo: This is an EU-wide certificate issued by the certified certification organizations DIN Certco and Vinçotte according to standardized procedures and refers to the TREELOCK® 35 BIO object on the belt material.

Underfloor anchorage for object greening 

With increasing soil sealing the object greening is becoming increasingly important. Underground garages, roofs and built-up areas become landscaped gardens. For property planting with larger trees, GEFA TREELOCK® OBJEKT offers a secure anchorage - without which planting in such extreme locations would not be possible.

Material complies with DIN EN 13432 for biodegradability.
Belt straps have the required microbiological resistance through an earth burial test (DIN EN 12225).

Durability test:

Test method for the determination of the microbiological resistance of textiles by an earth digging test according to DIN EN 12225

Several cotton strips of TREELOCK® 35 BIO webbing were buried as "specimens" in biologically active substrate. The naturally occurring microorganisms attack the material and degrade it with increasing speed. In this test, the degree of biodegradation is determined by the time it takes to degrade this substance. This time from the laboratory experiment is translated into reality and this simulates a period of 4 years.

Result on the durability of the materials used:

The tests confirm the high quality of the TREELOCK® 35 BIO webbing: Under normal soil conditions, the tear resistance will last at least three years. It is thus in this time above the tensile strength of the ground anchor supplied.

The webbing material of the GEFA TREELOCK® 35 BIO fulfills the requirements for the "seedling seal" of the European Bioplastics e.V. Only those products that are biodegradable in accordance with DIN EN 13432 or DIN EN 14995 may bear this symbol.
